Discover Sensors is designed to provide students of the Junior Science syllabus with the experience of “real science” in the classroom. Gathering data is a common feature of the practical work undertaken in a school science laboratory. Sensors can enhance this process by gathering data quickly and recording it accurately, whether in the classroom, science lab or on a field trip.

Tracking the arrival of spring to Ireland

Scientists tell us that if we look at Europe from outer space we will see a green wave moving up across the continent in springtime. This is caused by the opening of the buds on the trees and hedges.
