With the anticipated increase in regulatory controls, MyComplianceOffice has been specifically designed to help Investment Advisors, Broker Dealers and Hedge Funds manage and automate their compliance programs. MyComplianceOffice is an intuitive, cost-effective web-based application intended to offer peace of mind for firms and Compliance Professionals. Launched by TerraNua in 2007, the product is now at Version 2.0 with an ever-expanding client base.
Xwerx has partnered with Terranua for almost four years on a number of different application developments. Our work in the past 18 months has been focussed on MyComplianceOffice. During this time, we have been closely involved with the development of the product providing wireframe consultancy; interface, dashboard and rich media design services; and UI widget development services. We have also been responsible for the development of the corporate mycomplianceoffice.com website.
The Dashboard area of MyComplianceOfffice was a particularly challenging piece of work. The requirement to design a real-time Dashboard to allow CCOs review the firm’s entire compliance status involved an intense collaborative effort between Xwerx and the MCO development team. Creative handling of statistics, clean data layout and user-centred data mining options were integrated to provide the simplified “birds-eye” view of the data required by Compliance Professionals.
